Spiral settler

The rice spiral settler is a grading device commonly used in the rice processing process. It is mainly used to separate impurities (such as dust, sand, broken rice, etc.) in rice through gravity and the rotation force of the spiral. The spiral settler mainly relies on the difference in the sedimentation process of materials of different particle sizes and densities under the guidance of the spiral to grade and separate. Working principle of rice spiral settler: The spiral settler usually consists of a spiral body and an inclined sedimentation tank. When the cleaned paddy or rice enters the settler, the material moves along the inclined trough driven by the spiral. During the movement, heavier impurities (such as stones, sand, etc.) settle to the bottom first due to gravity, while lighter paddy or rice grains move upward or outward as the spiral rotates, thereby achieving separation.
